On Saturday 27th June, The Shewsy welcomed community from across Everton and beyond for our annual Summer Fair.
The day was buzzing with activity. Families enjoyed live performances, games, inflatables, arts and crafts, face painting, food stalls, refreshments, raffles, tombolas and much more, creating a fantastic atmosphere that reflected everything we value at The Shewsy; community, belonging and having fun together.
As an organisation that has been serving Everton for more than 123 years, events like the Summer Fair remind us why community spaces matter. Seeing generations of local people coming together, catching up with old friends, making new memories and celebrating everything that makes our community special was truly heart-warming.
‘The Summer Fair is everything the Shewsy stands for, bringing people together, creating a genuine sense of belonging, and celebrating the incredible community we’re proud to be part of. Whether you’ve been coming here for years or it’s your first visit, there’s a place for you at the Shewsy’ – Vicki Parker, CEO, The Shewsy

Their contribution helped create a welcoming, enjoyable and vibrant community event for everyone who attended.
We would also like to say a huge thank you to all the acts and performers who took part on the day, helping to showcase the abundance of talent Everton has as a community. Their energy, creativity and passion added so much to the atmosphere and made the day even more special.
