We are thrilled to share some truly exciting news for The Shewsy and the community we serve. We have been awarded £325,000 over three years from the Reaching Communities fund, the largest grant from a foundation that The Shewsy has ever received.
This incredible investment will go directly towards capacity building and core costs over the next three years, ensuring we have the strong foundations needed to keep doing the work that matters most.
Our CEO, Vicki Parker, said: “This bid is a game-changer for us. Amongst other things it’s enabled us to bring in a Pathway Worker to support our young people into employment, education and training, so that any young person who attends The Shewsy leaves with a pathway into employment, education or training.”
Every penny will be used for the good of our community. We are deeply grateful for this support and more committed than ever to making a real and lasting difference.
